Maths

At the Dixie Grammar School our experienced and approachable teachers support our students in developing their mathematical confidence, problem solving skills and achieving excellent results. We are well equipped to cater for all learners' needs and we feel variety and enjoyment are key to success in Mathematics. Outside the classroom, we provide a diverse enrichment program, featuring mathematics competitions such as the National Primary Challenge and UKMT Maths Challenges, the option to pursue Further Mathematics IGCSE, leadership opportunities and engaging educational visits.

We study the Edexcel International GCSE in Years 9-11 and for those wishing to continue their mathematical journey further we follow the Edexcel A level syllabus for both Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
